E² is always thinking about our migrant students. Hardly a month goes by that they don't touch base with us regarding any new donations or programs they have. They've supported our kids through college scholarships to helping them attend camp counselor trainings. Thanks for everything!

Migrant Education Program
special projects
We work with program and educational staff to address and fund the special needs of the students we serve.
We are dedicated to the students served by the MESD. We work to ensure that MESD students are able to take full advantage of their educational opportunities. At a time when tax dollars do not sufficiently fund public education, E²’s donors are making sure that every student has a chance to learn.
We provide funding for special projects to many of MESD’s services and programs. Below are examples of E²-funded projects.
The Health & Immunization Screening Team, a Health Services Project, provides early health and immunization screenings, and makes referrals to low-cost community services to those in need of such. E² funded the pilot project for three years and it is now a funded MESD program.
Each year, E² helps the Migrant Education students and their families purchase school and basic living supplies.
E² funded the Intensive Family Services pilot program, a project of the Multnomah Early Childhood Program. This program provides assessment, goal setting and linkage to community resources for low-income families who have young children with special needs. The program continues to run independently.
