Dress for Success OregonDress for Success Oregon (DFSO) provides resources and support to help low-income adult women coming out of MESD programs successfully enter the workforce. Mason Bruce & GirardIn 2009, along with a substantial donation, professional natural resources staff from Mason Bruce & Girard will provide up to 20 hours of pro-bono training to Outdoor School staff. Trainings range from biology and ecology to conflict resolution. Additionally, Mason Bruce & Girard will also provide 40 hours of pro-bono mentoring to Outdoor School Student Leaders. The company is particularly interested in cultivating students who will seek careers in the natural resource field.www.masonbruce.com

Metro Regional GovernmentMetro Regional Government has partnered with Friends of Outdoor School, Northwest Regional ESD and OMSI to sponsor a day of waste reduction education for students while at Outdoor School. Portland State UniversityProfessor Celine Fitzmaurice’s capstone class at Portland State University provides grant-writing services. World Forestry CenterEvery year, the World Forestry Center graciously allows free admission to the Discover Museum for all sixth-grade students attending Outdoor School.
